Socio-economic Impact Statements

Our Principal Darren Gibson and Senior Consultant, Kellie Shapland have extensive experience in the preparation of Socio-economic Impact Assessments (SEIA)meeting the requirements of the Tweed Shire Council. A selection of SEIAs is as follows:

- Socio-economic Impact Statement for mixed retail, commercial and tourist development. Wharf Street, Tweed Heads.

- Socio-economic Impact Assessment for numerous aged care facilities, including:

* Soorley Street, Tweed Heads.

* Florence Place, Tweed Heads.

* Stott Street, Bilambil Heights.

* Byangum Road, Murwillumbah.

- Socio-Economic Impact Statement for multi dwelling housing development. Fraser Drive, Tweed Heads.

Most recently, Darren and Kellie, in association with Rigby Consulting Pty Ltd, completed an SEIA in relation to the Cudgen Lakes sand extraction proposal for land off Crescent Street, Cudgen. The SEIA was part of an extensive Environmental Assessmen for the project required under Part 3A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979
